Privacy policy

1. Controller

The controller of personal data is SOMEL, razvojni inženiring, d.o.o., Dolga Poljana 18, 5271 Vipava, Slovenia. For any question about personal data, write to radiesthesia@somel.si.

2. No cookies, no tracking

This site uses no cookies, analytics, ads, tracking pixels or social media plugins and stores nothing in your browser. We serve fonts and all files ourselves, so your browser contacts no other sites when you visit.

3. Visiting the site

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (USA). On every visit it processes the technical data every browser sends: IP address, time, requested address and browser type. This data is used to deliver the site and protect it from attacks; the legal basis is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not collect this data ourselves or link it to you.

Cloudflare transfers data to the USA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

4. Forms and email

When you send a service request, we process your first and last name, email address and the content of the request; for a measurement also your date of birth, for a map the floor plan and description. When you write to us or send interest, we process your name, email address, the content of your message and any attachments.

We use this data to perform the service, to reply, and to let you know when sales start. The legal basis is steps prior to a contract and performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR); for the notice about the start of sales it is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time.

The form sends the data by email to our mailbox and sends a confirmation to the address you enter; we do not store it on the server. Our email is run by the email provider Hostko in Slovenia.

5. Orders and payments

For an order we need your name, email address, a delivery address for products, and the order and payment details. The legal basis is performance of a contract and legal obligations (Article 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR).

Payments by card, Apple Pay and Google Pay are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Ireland). We never see card details. To deliver a product we pass the address to the chosen carrier.

6. How long we keep data

• Messages of interest: until sales start or at most 12 months, or until you ask us to delete them.
• Orders and invoices: 10 years after the end of the year in which the invoice was issued, as required by VAT law.
• Service requests (including date of birth), floor plans and other attachments: deleted 6 months after the service is performed, or after 12 months at the latest if the service is not performed.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and you may withdraw consent at any time. Send your request to radiesthesia@somel.si; we reply within one month.

You may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia, Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana, www.ip-rs.si.

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
